Cut and Color Specialist
Despite growing up in Flint, Michigan, where it was “too cold and not particularly fashion-forward,” Maureen Bailey always knew she wanted to be a hairdresser. She cut her own hair (and was styling Barbie’s) by the age 4, and was soon giving friends Bo Derek-inspired braids, so she headed for Dallas at the age of 21.
Maureen began her career in earnest at Toni & Guy, where she went from assistant, to stylist, to teacher and platform artist over the course of seven years. She then made stops at several other salons before coming to TRU in 2012. A self-described perfectionist, Maureen says clients appreciate her attention to detail. They also like that can do short and trendy or long and sexy, and she specializes in gray coverage and natural-looking highlights. Bailey loves food, wine, gardening, going to concerts and walking with her husband and dogs at White Rock Lake.
